ASK
THE LAW™

Radio, Print and Internet Programs
Brought to you as a Public Service by:

The "Ask The Law™" programs
are an ongoing educational effort between Ol’ Blue,
USA and commercial law enforcement agencies. We hope you
find this feature of Ol’ Blue, USA both helpful and
enjoyable. The bottom line: we would hope this page and
its information and guidance will help keep drivers from
being ticketed or placed out-of-service.
The specific purpose during our live radio broadcasts of the “Ask The Law” program
is to have truckers call or write Ol’ Blue, USA and
pose questions to law enforcement officials relating to
safety and legal issues concerning commercial vehicles.
Radio Programs
“Ask The Law” is a series of live radio broadcasts with Ol’ Blue, USA founder, RJ Taylor, and members of law enforcement from across the United States. The award-winning program broadcasts are heard throughout North America on the Midnight Trucking Radio Network.
For the forth year in a row, Sr. Trooper Monty Dial (Ret.) along with Jim Brokaw and Ol' Blue, USA's “Ask The Law” radio program was awarded the Truck Writers of North America’s 2007 Gold Award-Radio at the MATS Truck Show in March.

Internet Program
If you cannot call in during our live radio programs, you can E-mail us with your CMV questions, by accessing the box above and have them answered by law enforcement personnel.
All names will be withheld to protect the privacy of the
persons involved. What’s more, your E-mail address
will not be forwarded to law enforcement. It will only be
used by Ol' Blue, USA to send their response to you. We also include some of these E-mails (using first name and state only), in our monthly Q & A column.
Print Column
Our “Ask The Law” Programs has a
monthly column in 10-4
Magazine as a PSA (Public Service Announcement).
This will be particularly helpful to those drivers who
cannot access the Internet. Thanks to this publication, we will be able to bring education to an estimated 30,000 CDL drivers and fleet's monthly. Their dedication to others will truly make a difference.
To view the top 3 - 4 questions received each month, please
click on the "Q & A's" button above.
Ol' Blue, USA is very happy to announce, for the 2nd year row our Q & A Print Column was presented to the publications above and Sr. Trooper Monty Dial, Jim Brokaw, David Kolman, 10-4 Magazine, Movin’ Out, Through The Gears and The Trucker with the 2007 Silver Award - Magazine Writing - Public Service from the Truck Writers of North America.
