What's up and new
with Ol' Blue, USATM
March 2007 - Update on our calendar of events for April and June.
Ask The Law™ “live” Radio
Programs:
Again for three (3) days, we will be doing a total of 15-hours of
live radio broadcasts. This is a great opportunity for drivers to call
in on the toll-free numbers and ask questions related to safety and
legal issues concerning commercial motor vehicles to law enforcement
officials.
On the Ask The Law™ “live” Radio Programs, drivers always get honest
and direct answers from Sr. Trooper
Monty Dial with Texas Highway Patrol, Commercial Vehicle
Enforcement Division, and other law enforcement officials.
April 3 - Midnight
Trucking Radio Network from midnight till 5 a.m. (CT).
April 4 - Open
Road Café from 5 till 10 a.m. (CT).
April 5 - Open
Road Café from 5 till 10 a.m. (CT).
Ask The Law™ “Q & A” Column:
It’s been a year now since our first column appeared in 10-4
Magazine, Movin' Out and The Trucker. The Ask The Law “Q & A”
Column was put together for the people who cannot get on the
Internet to keep up-to-date with currant regulations, misunderstanding
of some laws and Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) law changes. The
questions come from our radio and E-mail programs from CMV drivers.
Answers come directly from law enforcement agencies that work with Ol'
Blue, USA to help drivers and fleets keep safe.

“Safety Center”™ -
June 7 – 9 at The Truck Show -
Las Vegas:
Ol' Blue, USA is setting up its “Safety Center” at The Truck
Show - Las Vegas to bring the ultimate information to the CMV
driver. This year Ol' Blue, USA
is very proud to announce that the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) will
again be working with us.
Ol' Blue, USA 's Ask The Law™ Programs have been bombarded with
questions regarding the new Hours-of-Service regulations. For this reason, Ol' Blue, USA is
bringing back our large logbook page display board. A trooper from NHP and Staff
Sgt. Jim Brokaw from Nebraska State Patrol will be on hand to
answer questions and help with your logbooks.
Sgt. Brokaw developed the Hours-of-Service presentation that can be
viewed on the Ol' Blue, USA Website. Go to http://www.AskTheLaw.org and then click the button that says “Log Book Presentation.”
Other calendar of events can also be found on our Website at www.SafetyTour.org
