Once again, the afternoon of the 16th of May brought down heavy rains, which prevented pictures from being taken. However, through the rains, and by the assistance of the school personnel, the visit was a success.

During the breaks in the downpour of rain, the school of 533 students along with the Principal, Mr. Mitch Smith, were able to view the Big Wheels, Little Kid program. The school learned the safety measure around large vehicles, how to be seen and let the driver maneuver his vehicle safely.

Under the Ol’ Blue, USA program, “Big Wheels, Little Kids” school visitation program takes ‘Ol’ Blue’ to schools to give students an up close and personal view of the safety considerations around large vehicles, car drivers, bicycles, and pedestrians.
