practical tips for enhancing highway safety, as well as offers
ways to improve large vehicle safety.
Bill Mack and Eric Harley host The Midnight Cowboy Trucking
Network, broadcasting out of the Network's flagship radio station,
WBAP 820 AM, in Arlington, TX. WBAP, a 50,000-watt clear channel
signal in stereo, is networked with 11 other AM powerhouse stations,

Founded in 1986, Ol' Blue, USA is the only non-profit organization
endorsed by law enforcement agencies, schools and various groups
with the trucking industry. Its focus is to build positive relationships
between carriers, drivers, law enforcement and the general public,
making them a highway safety conscious team.

National Safety Tour and conducts its "Big Wheels, Little Kids©"
Traffic Safety Awareness Program at schools nationwide. In its

with state and local law enforcement, the U.S. Department of Transportation,
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and others to promote
large vehicle safety.
Voicing "A Safety Minute with Ol' Blue, USA" is former long-haul
trucker David "Cabover" Kolman. Now a veteran truck trade magazine
journalist with a leading publishing company, Cabover continues
to trailer-truck on a part-time basis.
"There are numerous benefits to be had from an investment in
safety, for the individual, his community and the trucking industry,"
said RJ Taylor, the man behind Ol' Blue, USA. "Our hope is that
'A Safety Minute with Ol' Blue, USA' will make drivers a little
more mindful to highway safety while behind the wheel."
