| Ol' Blue, USA heads
for Vista
Where's Vista, you ask? Vista is approximately 40 miles North
of San Diego, CA, nestled in the hills between I-5 and I-15.
Each year the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum presents
its "Show" and, for the 4th consecutive year, Ol' Blue, USA
has been invited to participate. This is an informative event
and a whole lot of fun, complete with booths, a bazaar, food,
things for the kids, lots of antique equipment and a parade
— open to the public with an attendance of about 10,000 visitors
each year!
This year's event will last four days, October 22, 23, 24 and
25. During the event, school children from San Diego County,
will be bused in for the Museum's "School Days," held Oct. 22
and 23. Ol' Blue, USA is invited, once again, to present its
"Big Wheels, Little Kids" Program to these children.

During this program a selected student sits behind the wheel
of ‘Ol' Blue'® and, equipped with a microphone, assists
RJ (Ol' Blue, USA founder) in demonstrating the difficulties
related to visibility when driving a large vehicle.

Kids love to ask questions and RJ, who is an overgrown kid,
loves to answer them! These kids will be on the road themselves
one day soon, so what they learn now will follow them when they
are behind the wheel. They are the Future Drivers of America.

Ol' Blue, USA is proud to have the California Highway Patrol
(CHP) with them again this year. They will take part in the
"Big Wheels, Little Kids" Program and will demonstrate their
Simulated RollOver display — complete with dummy. This is a
very effective method of proving the importance of buckling
up!

"School Days" is closed to the public, but October 24 and 25
is open to the public, with truckers welcome. Tractors are fine
but please drop the trailers elsewhere (the parking area cannot
accommodate vehicles of such length). Come on out and have a
great time on 40 acres, complete with 20,000 antique vehicles,
farm equipment and steam engines ("Big Boy Toys"). ‘Ol' Blue'
and the Rolling Billboard, along with the CHP, will be there
to talk safety with you.
