FALL SAFETY TOUR September 1, 2001, Van Nuys, CA: Ol' Blue, USA© is back on tour for the upcoming Great American Truck Show (GATS). Following is the update on the Fall tour: Thursday, August 30th - RJ Taylor, Founder of Ol' Blue, USA will be a guest on the Midnight Cowboy Radio Network from 12 AM until 4 AM. Assisting in the live broadcast will be officers from the Texas DPS (Licensing and Weight Division) answering drivers' questions from phone calls at (800) 288-9227 sponsored in part by Shell Rotella® T. September 7,8 & 9 The Ol' Blue, USA Safety Center© will be in full swing at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas Texas in booth 3042. Hourly inspections will be conducted on safety vehicle and enforcement. In attendance and assisting will be the Texas DPS (Licensing and Weight Division), the Houston Police Department and the Dallas Police Department. The Safety Center will be having live web-broadcasts during show hours. The live broadcast is sponsored in part by Shell Rotella T and hosted by TruckNet™ and is viewable on the Internet at Ol Blue USA Video Page September 13th and 14th - Ol' Blue, USA will be presenting the Big Wheels, Little Kids© Safety Program to the to the Johnson Elementary School in Houston Texas. The program, insured with a one million dollar special event insurance policy, is conducted throughout the United States and is used as an educational and "hands on" experience for school children. The visit reinforces the importance of large vehicle safety by demonstrating such things as visual limitations and handling difficulties associated with the size and weight of large vehicles. September 14th 3:00 PM till 7:00 PM - Ol' Blue, USA will be at the Pilot Travel Center located on I-45, exit 50 – 50B in Houston Texas. Assisted by the Houston Police Department and the Texas DPS (Licensing and Weight), inspections of vehicles and enforcement questions will be conducted. Those visiting will be recipients of sponsor hats and/or Shell Rotella T country music tapes and cd's. September 15th 9:00 AM till 1:00 PM - Ol' Blue, USA will continue the tour at the Pilot Center in Texas. Assisted by the Houston Police Department and the Texas DPS (Licensing and Weight), inspections of vehicles and enforcement questions will be conducted. Those visiting will be recipients of sponsor hat and/or Shell Rotella T country music tapes and cd's. Safety is the number one concern among drivers today and the sole purpose behind Ol' Blue, USA.
