Ol' Blue, USA (United Safety Alliance, Inc.) is
a non-profit 501(c)(3)
educational and charitable
organization dedicated to
the safety and education
of drivers, mechanics, industry
members and the general
public.
With ‘Ol' Blue'®, a 1951 truck/tractor, as a hands-on
exhibit to promote safety,
the United Safety Alliance
(USA) program combines the
resources of the big blue
classic rig with participation
from state and local law
enforcement, community and
civic organizations, emergency
response agencies, program
sponsors and other interested
parties, all working together
to promote large vehicle
safety and safe and lawful
driving.
As Ol' Blue travels across country on the annual "Safety
Tour"©, its "rolling
billboard" is an unparalleled
asset in attracting attention
to sponsor and law enforcement
agency logos that are proudly
displayed. The billboard,
Ol' Blue's 53-foot trailer,
is the only non-governmental
vehicle in the country that
is permitted to display
law enforcement logos.
In 2002, over 2.8
million people viewed sponsor
and enforcement logos, in
conjunction with Ol’ Blue,
USA’s message "People
Working Together For Highway
Safety"®. This
2002 figure does not include
an estimated 2.2 million
in known media coverage.
Ol’ Blue, USA kicks off its 2003 safety tour March
1, with stops at the Mid-America
Trucking Show, the North
