The First On-line Coloring Book About Safety and Large Vehicles
January 2002, Van Nuys, CA: Ol’ Blue, USA ® announces
the exciting new adventure for the Big Wheels, Little Kids School
Program. The new FREE on-line coloring book (printable) is now
available to assist in the education to children about the importance
of safety around large vehicles. The coloring book can be viewed
at the Ol’ Blue, USA website at www.olbueusa.org/coloringbook
Based upon the storybook version, Officers Ken Wallace and Dan
Francisco come alive as Officer Brown and Officer Blue, thanks
to Gerry Kissell, web design manager of TruckNet. The coloring
book is based on true experiences of RJ Taylor. Shell Rotella
® -T contributes a $10,000 grant yearly; additional sponsors for
the Big Wheels, Little Kids Safety Program are being sought.

‘Ol’ Blue’ ®, a 1951 vintage working-truck, driven by RJ Taylor,
is also an 80,000 pound teacher’s aide. The School Program was
incorporated into the Ol’ Blue, USA agenda in 1986, however the
truck and driver, RJ Taylor, had already visited schools for 15
years. Ms. Bobbi Farrell came up with the name, Big Wheels Little
Kids © in 1988. Ol’ Blue, USA conducted its first cross-country
National Safety Tour in 1995, with much success
The 2002 Safety Tour is preparing to be as active as it has
been over the past years. The first visit will be to the Mid-America
Trucking Show in Louisville Kentucky March 21-23, 2002 (booth
200 – East Wing). Although numerous requests for school and community
event visitations have been received beyond normal capacity, the
increase in general liability insurance rates has limited the
visitation schedule.
Safety is the number one concern among drivers today and the
sole purpose behind Ol’ Blue, USA. A 501 (c)(3) charitable organization,

large vehicle safety endorsed by law enforcement agencies, schools
