VAN NUYS, California December 16, 2005 – Ol’ Blue, USA (United Safety Alliance, Inc.) will continue its “Ask The Law” radio program in 2006. An ongoing educational effort between Ol’ Blue, USA and commercial law enforcement agencies, the program’s specific purpose is to have truckers call or E-mail Ol’ Blue, USA and pose questions to law enforcement officials relating to safety and legal issues concerning commercial vehicles.

“Ask The Law” is a public service by Ol’ Blue, USA.

“Ask The Law” returns to the airways on Wednesday, Jan. 11, from midnight to 5 a.m. Central Time. The show, featuring Ol’ Blue USA founder RJ Taylor and Sr. Trooper Monty Dial of the Texas Highway Patrol, will broadcast live from radio station WBAP in Arlington, TX, on the Midnight Trucking Radio Network, hosted by Eric Harley and Gary McNamara.

To participate on the program, phone 800-288-9227 or E-mail questions to Taylor and Dial by visiting the “Ask The Law” with Ol’ Blue, USA website at www.AskTheLaw.org.

Following the Midnight Trucking Network broadcast, “Ask The Law” will then do another live broadcast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. from ABC Radio in Dallas, TX, on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Open Road Café program (Sirius Channel 147), hosted by Mark Willis. Taylor and Dial will be joined on-air with special guest Staff Sgt. Jim Brokaw of the Nebraska State Patrol.

To take part in this “Ask The Law” live broadcast, phone 800-288-9227 or go to www.AskTheLaw.org and E-mail questions.

A third live broadcast of “Ask The Law” will take place on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. once again on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Open Road Café program. Broadcasting from ABC Radio in Dallas, TX, this program will feature Taylor and Dial with special guests Ofc. Ms. Dana Proffet of the Indiana State Police and Ofc. Chris Sahagun of the California Highway Patrol, along with Open Road Café’s host Mark Willis.

Along with the live radio broadcasts is the “Ask The Law” Internet program found at its website: www.AskTheLaw.org . This special program was created for those unable to listen and participate in the broadcasts. The website allows anyone to E-mail their safety and other commercial law related questions to Ol' Blue, USA and have them answered by law enforcement personnel.

This website recently got a fresh new look and additional content and photographs.

Founded in 1986, Ol’ Blue, USA is a non-profit organization dedicated to highway safety education, and to improving relations between the motoring public, law enforcement and commercial drivers. It works toward these goals by conducting free programs at truck industry events, truck stops, community events, public schools and radio programs around the country.

These programs take place during Ol’ Blue, USA’s annual Safety Tour with its antique 1951 tractor and 53-foot “rolling billboard” trailer that showcases sponsor logos and serves as the stage for the Ol’ Blue team’s mock truck inspections and other safety demonstrations. Please visit our “Safety Tour” website at www.SafetyTour.org for more information on our events.
