Officer Amy Bachelor has been with the California Highway Patrol for six years.  Officer Bachelor is currently assigned to the California Highway Patrol headquarters, Commercial Vehicle Section (CVS).

Prior to becoming an Officer in 2006 Officer Bachelor worked as a Commercial Vehicle Inspection Specialist at the Nimitz Scales.  Officer Bachelor was assigned to the San Jose area where she worked road patrol for several years.  She has received a variety of Department of Transportation training related to Level 1 Commercial Vehicle Inspection, Motorcoach Inspection, Hazardous Material Inspection, and Cargo Tank Inspection.

Officer Bachelor is currently assigned to the CVS Credentialing unit where she tackles issues related to driver licensing, interstate registration, and operating authority.
