Officer Chris Sahagun is a 15-year veteran of the California Highway Patrol. A commercial vehicle enforcement officer, he is currently assigned to the California Highway Patrol headquarters, Commercial Vehicle Section.

Officer Sahagun began his career with the California Highway Patrol in 1990, working road patrol in the Los Angeles area. He continued to work road patrol enforcement in the Bay Area and San Joaquin Valley. In 2001 he transferred to the Donner Pass Inspection Facility where he went into commercial enforcement and became an instructor for the Commercial Industry Education Program. He recently accepted a headquarters position in Commercial Vehicle Section.
